The Jenkins Laboratory for Biodiversity is a research group directed by Dr. Clinton Jenkins within the Institute of Environment at Florida International University (FIU).
The lab is dedicated to the study and conservation of the world’s biological diversity. Areas of interest are wide-ranging, but always with the ultimate goal of improving the chances of a healthy, diverse planet for the future.
Much of the lab's research is focused in three areas:
- Global biodiversity and priority conservation areas
- The Amazon and its future
- The varied ecosystems and environmental challenges of Brazil, which include far more than the Amazonian portion of the country.
