We are taking the uncertainty out of long-term sustainability. A comprehensive solutions center, we are dedicated to combating environmental crises that devastate ecosystems, disrupt communities and destroy natural resources. Explore our three divisions to dive deeper into our work:
Monitoring Biscayne Bay Water Quality
In response to the recent fish kills in Biscayne Bay, we have deployed one of our water quality buoys in an effort to identify what is happening beneath the surface.
Cross-Cutting Innovation
These initiatives connect experts from across the university to examine different aspects of environmental monitoring, conservation and adaptation. Learn more about our cross-cutting programs:
International Impact
We are a key player in global environmental research, having engaged in investigations and collaborations in more than 60 countries. Our UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Water Security works to address risks to water resources, the overlap of gender and water equity issues, as well as developing new technologies for improving access and availability of water worldwide.
